The centre of proctology is a specialized praxis in the field of rectum and colon at supraregional level.

The praxis was founded in1982 by Dr. Jürgen Kiehl. It was the first praxis in Berlin to offer exclusively the treatment of proctologic diseases in its wholeness in diagnostic, conservative and surgery therapy.

This praxis is certified as centre of competence in the field of coloproctology of the professional association of coloproctologists Germany e.V: The praxis is connected with the institute of intestine health. Here the treatment is mainly naturopathic in the field of intestine diseases and pelvic floor training.

 

After careful examination we offer individual explanation and treatment of your personal problems by means of most modern options of therapy (due to the newest level in science). We offer competence and experience. The whole team strives to make the stay in this praxis as comfortable as possible for you.

 

Do not have unnecessary fear. We know, a visit at our place is often accompanied by uncertainty, fear and shame. We assure you will be treated conciliatory (surface anaesthesia) and with outmost respect. 90 % of all proctologic diseases could be treated without surgery and insignificant side affects. In most cases the cause of the illness is harmless. Most of the patients are positively surprised after examination and treatment. Examinations of the rectum are painless. We treat certain painful diseases with surface anaesthetic crème before the examination.
